Wool Comforter

Wool is by far the ideal material for bedding.   Because wool “breaths”, readily taking on and releasing moisture, it is naturally mold and mite free.  It’s breathability also helps to moderate your body temperature, not just keep you warm.  Our family has our wool comforters on our beds year-round.  Wool is also naturally flame resistant (some conventional bedding contains chemical flame retardants! Yuck!)  Although each wool comforter comes with hand washing instructions, it is ideal to protect it with a comforter cover, then simply air it out in the sun annually.
